Alex began his professional appraisal and auction career at GoIndustry Dovebid in 1986. He was promoted to Vice President of Auction Marketing and worked with high profile technology companies such as IBM and Motorola. He later became Director of Appraisal Services for GoIndustry Dovebid’s valuation group, which he ran until 1990. Sensing an entrepreneurial calling, he left GoIndustry Dovebid in 1990 and formed AR International, LLC.

Alex achieved his professional senior designation in Machinery & Technical Specialties in 1988 and has since maintained his accreditation through the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). He has held several officer positions with the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the ASA including a term as Chapter President.

Alex has an extensive background in the appraisal, remarketing and litigation support of assets ranging from complex high technology equipment to industrial, commercial machinery and equipment and inventories. He is often called upon for expert witness and litigation support and his work is recognized by major financial institutions across the country. Alex is currently President and a Principal of AR International, LLC.

Brandon joined AR International in the Fall of 2010 after graduating from San Diego State University with B.S. Degree in Finance (Cum Laude). He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in the Machinery & Technical Specialties discipline.  Brandon is involved in field inspections, appraisal research, auction administration and marketing efforts for the company.

Additionally, Brandon is also planning to use his language skills (conversive in French and Spanish) to expand the company’s global client base in the future. Brandon is also a professional musician as an accomplished jazz and classical pianist.

Shannon holds the position of Production Director and has completed and passed the ISA’s Core Course in Appraisal Studies. Shannon comes to us from a banking and business background with expertise in accounts management and marketing. She has owned and operated a successful nutritional and health consulting business as well.

Shannon’s current responsibilities include word and data processing, website management, field inspections, appraisal administration and asset remarketing. Shannon has been with AR International since 1998.

Hannah is the Manager of Special Projects and Campaigns and is responsible for the marketing, imaging, and networking activities, as well as, website design and data integration management.
